How Do I Fix my iPhone 3g Apps?

I just got my iPhone 3g yesterday. I downloaded a bunch of the free apps from the app store. Some of these include: various games, Shazaam, and Pandora. Anyway, when I now load the apps it comes up on the screen and then brings me back to my home screen. I deleted some of the games thinking it was just them but it is Pandora and Shazaam too.
